Problems and solutions

Before commenting on the latest production developments, let us wish you all a very happy new year. We hope many of you have had relaxing holidays whilst the Feverchart team has been keeping itself busy.

So far, our latest news had been a submission to the Warwick Lord Rootes Fund and the organization of flyers to publicise future auditions. The former involved scrambling together briefing objectives, budgets and references, in the hope to secure some valuable funding. (Unfortunately, as well the world, the UK pound is also key to spinning our play towards future success.)

On a more imaginative note, when creating audition flyers we gave considerable thought on how to overcome one specific hurdle.

PROBLEM: How to reach out to a wider range of potential drama goers.

SOLUTION: Take advantage of Warwick’s One World Week – the world largest student run event!

You see, the hope is that once reading our conveniently placed flyers (on all seats of OWWs theatre productions), the combination of heightened artistic senses on account of a recent show experience and our wise words, will produce a new genre of drama fiends ready to audition for our play. Voila, we will have a cast by March.

However, now all that’s left is to put this theory to the test…come on One World Week!
